January 21 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJSE:NLBR] (NLB) said it has appointed Hedvika Usenik, Antonio Argir and Andrej Lasic management board members.
Usenik, Argir and Lasic have extensive experience in the NLB group and proven value-creating track record, NLB said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Thursday.
The appointments bring the total number of NLB's management board members to six, the bank said.
"The Supervisory Board has been aware of the need to complete the Bank's Management Board if we want to manage the Group well also in the future, continue successful operations, and meet the strategic commitments given to our stakeholders, primarily our customers, shareholders, and also employees," NLB supervisory board president Primoz Karpe said in the statement.
A five-year term of office for the new members will start after they obtain consent of Slovenia's central bank, Until then they will continue to work as executive assistants to the management board.
