LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), May 15 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's Nova Ljubljanska Banka [LJE: NLB] rose the most among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Wednesday, bourse data showed.
NLB's shares closed at 62.4 euro, up 3.31%.
Trading in NLB shares contributed the most, 739,760 euro, to Wednesday's total turnover on the LJSE, which fell to 1.42 million euro ($1.6 million) from 2.7 million euro on Tuesday.
Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] was the biggest blue-chip loser on Wednesday for a second day in a row, as the shares of the Slovenian logistics group closed 8.73% lower at 2.3 euro.
Intereuropa's shares rose strongly on Monday, to 2.6 euro, following an announcement that a group of banks has signed an agreement with Posta Slovenije for the sale of 72.13% of the shares of the logistics group to the state-owned postal services operator.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed 0.06% higher at 863.47 points on Wednesday.
