January 26 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia rose 23.6% last year, reaching 11,710, after a drop of 31% in 2020, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association (ACEA) said on Wednesday, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes rose by 20.6% year on year to 9,687 units in 2021, ACEA said in a monthly report.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes soared 39.5% last year to 1,925 units.
In December alone, registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia fell 0.8% year-on-year to 836 units.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, increased by 9.6% to 1.88 million last year. In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 25.9% higher at 254,036 last year.
