March 23 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia increased 11.6% on the year to 2,363 in the first two months of the year, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Thursday.
In February alone, the registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia grew 17% on the year to 1,061, ACEA said in a statement.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes in Slovenia rose 13% year-on-year to 1,837 units in January-February, while registrations of new heavy commercial vehicles rose 6.6% to 451.
Registrations of new commercial vehicles in the EU, excluding Malta, rose by 5.6% on the year to 338,947 units in the first two months.
