April 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's net electricity production increased 13% on the month to 1,317 GWh in March, while total electricity consumption rose by 4% reaching 1,220 GWh, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday.
Slovenia's hydropower plants generated 21% more electricity than in February, the output of thermal power plants increased by 2% and that of nuclear power plants rose by 17%, the statistical office said, citing provisional data.

In March 2017, fuel consumption in thermal power plants decreased by 1%.
Slovenia imported 773 GWh of electricity in March and exported 844 GWh.
