January 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's net electricity production increased 7% month-on-month to 1,371 GWh in December, while total electricity consumption rose 2% to 1,276 GWh, the country's statistical office said on Thursday.
The output of hydro power plants increased by 24%, output of thermal power plants dropped by 6% and that of the nuclear power plant rose by 3%, the statistical office said, citing provisional data.

Fuel consumption in thermal power plants increased by 1% in December.
Also last month, 755 GWh of electricity was imported and 810 GWh was exported.
