May 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's net electricity production decreased 15% on the month to 1,124 GWh in April, while total electricity consumption dropped by 9% to 1,109 GWh, the country's statistical office said on Wednesday.
Slovenia's hydropower plants generated 15% less electricity than in March, the output of thermal power plants decreased by 22% and that of nuclear power plants fell by 8%, the statistical office said, citing provisional data.

In line with the lower production at thermal power plants, fuel consumption also decreased in April, by 22%.
In April, Slovenia imported 845 GWh of electricity and exported 835 GWh.
