March 8 (SeeNews) - Slovenian dairy group Mlekarna Celeia expects its revenue to rise by 16.5% in 2023 from 67.5 million euro ($71.2 million) recorded last year, local media reported.
The company intends to invest 1.5 million euro this year to modernise production plus 500,000 euro to complete the upgrade of the sewage treatment plant, news agency STA quoted on Tuesday Mlekarna Celeia director Vinko But as saying.
The situation in the industry is unstable due to the high prices of energy products and significant fluctuations in the purchase price of basic raw materials, which is consequently also reflected in the prices of some of products, But said.
Mlekarna Celeia processes milk from more than 600 farms from the regions of Savinja, Salek, Carinthia, Celje and Kozjan.
