December 4 (SeeNews) - Slovenian retailer Mercator [LJE:MELR] said on Monday it has repaid 12-month commercial papers issued on December 5 last year, with a nominal value of 20 million euro ($23.7 million) and an interest rate of 1.40% p.a.
"The purpose of issuing commercial papers was managing liquidity, financing working capital and diversification of financial sources," Mercator said in a Ljubljana bourse filing.
The Mercator Group is one of the largest corporate groups in Slovenia and Southeastern Europe. The controlling company of the group is Poslovni sistem Mercator, d.d., based in Slovenia.
