September 12 (SeeNews) - Slovenian chemicals company Melamin has recorded a net profit of 700,054 euro ($752,030) in the first half of 2023, down from 2.5 million euro in the like period of last year, it said.
Net sales revenue went down 38% on the year to 24.7 million euro, the company said in a statement with the Ljubljana bourse on Monday.
Melamin's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) declined to 1.2 million euro from 5.7 million euro.
In June, Melamin increased its ownership stake in local nonwoven fabrics producer SmartMelamine and now controls its entire equity capital.
