March 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's seasonally-adjusted economic sentiment index rose by three percentage points on the month in March, the country's statistics office said on Tuesday.
The March index was seven percentage points higher compared to the same month of last year and three percentage points below the long-term average, the statistics office said in a statement.
The seasonally-adjusted value of the manufacturing sector confidence index was 1.0 percentage points higher than in February and eight percentage points up year-on-year. It was 4.0 percentage point above the long-term average.
The March seasonally-adjusted confidence indicator for the retail sector was one percentage point higher month-on-month. It rose by 5.0 percentage points from a year earlier and was six percentage points below than the long-term average.
The confidence indicator in the construction sector rose by eight percentage points on the month and jumped by 22 points year-on-year in March. It was nine percentage points higher than the long-term average.
The seasonally-adjusted confidence index in the services sector was 3.0 percentage points higher on the month in March. It rose by eight percentage points on the year and was 15 points below the long-term average.
The consumer confidence indicator increased by 2.0 percentage point on the month in March. The indicator was 1.0 percentage point lower than a year ago and five percentage points above last year’s average.
