LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), May 18 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's labour force was estimated at 895,994 in March, up 0.7% year-on-year, after increasing by an annual 1.5% in February, the country's statistical office said on Monday.
On a monthly comparison basis, the number of employed dropped 0.3% in March after growing at the same rate in February, the statistical office said in a statement.,
The monthly drop was sharpest in accommodation and catering, where the number of employed people shrank by 5% to 35,700, the office said.
Slovenia has a population of around two million.
