LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), July 4 (SeeNews) – Pharmaceuticals producer Krka [LJE:KRKG] posted the biggest gains among the blue-chip companies on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE) on Thursday, bourse data showed.
Krka's shares closed 3.24% higher at 63.8 euro. The company generated the largest share, of 512,630 euro, of the total daily trading turnover on the LJSE.
Earlier in the day, the pharmaceuticals producer said its consolidated net profit rose 37% year-on-year in the first half of 2019, reaching 139.9 million euro. Krka also said it will pay a gross dividend of 3.20 euro per share on its 2018 earnings, up 10.3% compared to last year's dividend distribution.
The bourse's total daily turnover fell to 1.19 million euro ($1.3 million) from 1.38 million euro on Wednesday.
Logistics group Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] fell the most among the blue-chip companies on Thursday, as the company’s shares closed 3.85% lower at 2.5 euro.
The SBITOP index, which tracks the most liquid and capitalised stocks on the LJSE, closed at 890.47 points, up 1.09%.
