October 4 (SeeNews) - Slovenian trading company Kompas Shop [LJE:MTSG] turned to a net profit of 537,797 euro ($624,800) in the first half of 2021 from a 1.3 million euro net loss in the like period of last year, it said.
The revenue of the company went down 36.4% on the year to 18.2 million euro, due to a drop in trading income, Kompas Shop said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange last week.
Kompas Shop reported earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) of 1.3 million euro, versus a loss before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (LBITDA) of 991,282 euro in the first six months of 2020, the company said.
Kompas Shop runs a chain of shops located at Slovenia's border crossings.
Its shares last traded on the Ljubljana bourse on September 29, closing down 6.1% at 31 euro.
