November 17 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Slovenia fell by 15.1% on the year in the first 10 months of 2022, to 40,191, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said on Thursday, quoting provisional figures.
In October alone, new passenger car registrations in Slovenia declined by 18.7% on the year to 3,433, ACEA said in a statement.
New passenger car registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, declined 8.1% year-on-year to 7.53 million in the January-October period of 2022, ACEA said in a statement.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 5.6% lower on the year at 940,536 in the first 10 months of 2022.
New passenger car registrations in Slovenia rose by a marginal 0.6% in 2021, to 53,988, following a 27% drop in 2020.
