November 24 (SeeNews) - Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia dropped by an annual 16.8% to 8,121 in the first 10 months of this year, the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, said on Thursday.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes fell by 25.6% on the year to 6,013 vehicles in the January-October period, ACEA said in a statement, citing provisional data.
Registrations of new medium and heavy commercial vehicles of over 3.5 tonnes rose 22.9% on the year to 1,983 in the period under review.
New commercial vehicle registrations in the EU, excluding Malta, fell by 16.8% year-on-year to 1.317 million in the first 10 months of this year.
In EU12, which encompasses member states that have joined the EU since 2004, registrations were 7.8% lower at 193,112.
