LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 30 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's budget showed a surplus of 304.9 million euro ($340.6 million) for the January-November period, compared to a surplus of 729.7 million euro in the like period last year, the finance ministry said on Monday.
Budget revenues totalled 9.17 billion euro in the first eleven months of 2019, up 1.4% year-on-year, the finance ministry said in a statement
Expenditures rose by an annual 6.5% to 8.87 billion euro in the review period.
Tax revenue totalled 7.93 billion euro, up 5.2%, as personal income tax revenue increased by 6.1% to around 1.2 billion euro, whereas VAT revenue rose by 3.8% to about 3.58 billion euro.
Slovenia swung to a budget surplus of 536.9 million euro last year, from a deficit of 326.2 million euro in 2017.
