LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 15 (SeeNews) – Slovenia budget deficit contracted to 158.97 million euro ($187.4 million) in the eleven months through November from 602.20 million euro in the same period last year, finance ministry data showed on Friday.
Total budget revenues increased 7.2% year-on-year to 8.05 billion euro in the 11-month period, while expenditures rose by 1.2% to 8.21 billion euro, according to figures posted on the website of the finance ministry.
In November alone, Slovenia posted a budget deficit of 173.8 million euro, compared to a deficit of 69.2 million euro a year earlier.
Revenues collected in November totalled 724.9 million euro, compared to 661.9 million euro last year, while expenditures rose to 898.6 million euro, from 731.1 million euro.
