LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), July 17 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's current account surplus decreased to 1.302 billion euro ($1.525 billion) in the first five months of 2018, from 1.138 billion euro in the prior-year period, the central bank said.
In May alone, Slovenia's current account showed a surplus of 248.2 million euro, higher than the 117.2 million euro surplus in May 2017, the central bank said in a monthly balance of payments report on Monday, citing preliminary figures.
Slovenia's trade surplus expanded to 617.6 million euro in January-May from 582.8 million euro in the corresponding period of 2017.
