March 21 (SeeNews) - New passenger car registrations in Slovenia rose by 0.8% on the year in the first two months of this year, to 8,195, the European Automobile Manufacturers Association (ACEA) said on Tuesday, quoting provisional figures.
In the January-February period, petrol remained the most popular fuel type for newly-registered cars in Slovenia, with 5,008 cars, followed by diesel cars (1,390) and hybrid electric cars (950), ACEA said in a statement.
In the first two months of the year, the EU market reached almost 1.6 million new cars registered, up 11.4% from the previous year, thanks to double-digit increases in both January and February, ACEA said.
New passenger car registrations in Slovenia fell by 14.2% on the year in 2022, to 46,339, ACEA said earlier.
