LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 25 (SeeNews) – Registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia increased 6.4% year-on-year in the eight months through August, reaching 10,952, provisional data from the European Automobile Manufacturers' Association, ACEA, indicated on Wednesday.
In August alone, the registrations of new commercial vehicles in Slovenia fell 22% on the year to 881, ACEA said in a statement.
Registrations of new light commercial vehicles of up to 3.5 tonnes rose 9.7% to 9,182 units in the January-August period, while registrations of new heavy commercial vehicles decreased by 7.5% to 1,569.
Registrations of new commercial vehicles in the EU, excluding Malta, rose 6.5% to 1,739,402 in the first eight months of the year.
