May 20 (SeeNews) - Slovenian logistics company Intereuropa [LJE:IEKG] said its consolidated net profit grew to 1.3 million euro ($1.4 million) in the first quarter of 2022 from 1.2 million euro in the like period of last year.
Consolidated earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) totalled 3.6 million euro in January-March, up 16% year-on-year, Intereuropa said in a statement filed with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange late on Thursday.
Sales revenue rose 3% to 47.1 million euro, while investment in fixed assets during the first quarter of 2022 totalled 3.9 million euro.
Sales revenue of 20.8 million euro was generated during the first quarter of 2022 in the land transport segment, up 13% year-on-year. Sales revenue in the intercontinental transport segment totalled 14.2 million euro, an increase of 30%, whereas sales revenue in the logistics solutions segment also increased by 21% to 8.5 million euro.
Shares of Intereuropa closed flat at 1.28 euro on the Ljubljana stock exchange on Thursday.
