LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), February 3 (SeeNews) – Slovenian aluminium producer Impol targets a consolidated pre-tax profit of 29 million euro ($32 million) this year, compared to an estimated 27.3 million euro profit in 2019, it said.
Impol Group's earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortisation (EBITDA) are expected to increase to 54.5 million euro in 2020 from last year's estimated 50.4 million euro, Impol 2000 management company, which controls Impol Group, said in a filing with the Ljubljana bourse on Friday.
"The main focus of Impol Group in the coming years will be on raising the share of sales of products with higher value added and further developing the processing stages in the product manufacturing chain," Impol said.
It added it will invest 30 million euro in the development of fixed assets this year, the same amount it invested in 2019.
Impol also said that according to early estimates, the volume of its production and sales remained unchanged in 2019 in comparison with the previous year.
The core activity of Slovenska Bistrica-based Impol is the processing of aluminium into rolled, extruded, drawn and forged products, as well as other types of products.
