LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 25 (SeeNews) – Slovenian management company Impol 2000, which controls aluminium producer Impol, said on Tuesday its consolidated net profit fell 4.8% on the year to 19.8 million euro ($23.3 million) in the first six months of 2018.
In the first half of 2018, the Impol Group's operating profit (EBIT) decreased 31.6% year-on-year to 21.6 million euro, while EBITDA fell to 29.6 million euro from 39.3 million euro, Impol 2000 said in a filing with the Slovenian stock exchange.
The Impol Group generated a net sales revenue of 368.1 million euro through June, which is 7.0% more than the revenue in the first six months of 2017.
The volume of sales of semi-finished aluminium products edged up to 123,164 tonnes through June from 121,416 tonnes a year earlier.
The core activity of Slovenska Bistrica-based Impol is the processing of aluminium into rolled, extruded, drawn and forged products, as well as other types of products.
