November 23 (SeeNews) - The supervisory board of Slovenian state-owned electricity producer Holding Slovenske Elektrarne (HSE) has accepted the resignation of COO Marko Strigl, the company said.
As of November 22, the board of directors of HSE has two members - managing director Tomaz Stokelj, and Uros Podobnik, the electricity producer said in a statement on Tuesday.
Both Stokelj and Podobnik have been working in the energy sector for many years, and the main challenges they will face are related to the continuation of planned projects and activities in the field of green transition and the reliable production and supply of electricity to Slovenian consumers, HSE said.
Earlier this month, HSE appointed Stokelj managing director. He succeeded Viktor Vracar who assumed the position of managing director of the Sostanj coal-fired power plant.
