LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), July 30 (SeeNews) – Slovenian industrial conglomerate Hidria has signed another 15 million euro ($18 million) deal with Audi, Lamborghini and Porsche for the development of new powertrains, local media reported on Thursday.
Under the deal, in the next five years Hidria will supply the three luxury car makers with key parts for high-efficient diesel and petrol engines for their premium and supersports vehicles, state news agency STA reported, quoting company information.
In February, Hidria signed a deal to supply aluminium housings for steering systems to German car maker BMW for its new hybrid and electric vehicles.
The housings will be used in the manufacturing of BMW vehicles as of 2023 as part of a contract valid until 2030, Hidria has said.
According to previous media reports, the deal with BMW totals 30 million euro.
Hidria Corporation has more than 1,800 employees in Slovenia, Germany, Hungary and China.
