LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), August 13 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's current account surplus increased to 1.76 billion euro ($2.0 billion) in the first six months of 2018, from 1.42 billion euro in the prior-year period, the country's central bank said on Monday.
In June alone, Slovenia's current account showed a surplus of 442.8 million euro, higher than the 278.6 million euro surplus in June 2017, the central bank said in a monthly balance of payments report, citing preliminary figures.
Slovenia's trade surplus expanded to 863.1 million euro in January-June from 782.6 million euro in the corresponding period of 2017.
