November 8 (SeeNews) - Slovenian household appliances manufacturer Gorenje on Thursday reported a 4.8% annual rise in group net profit for the first nine months of 2007 to 13.528 million euro ($19.9 million) as sales also increased.
Group sales through September rose by 23.3% year-on-year to 950.479 million euro, Gorenje said in its financial report to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange (LJSE).
Parent net profit rose by 18.8% year-on-year in the first nine months to 5.013 million euro as parent sales went up by 19.6% to 603.236 million euro.
Shares in blue-chip Gorenje fell 1.31% to an average price of 45.14 euro on the LJSE on Thursday. The company released its nine-month results after the close of trading.
