August 16 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's white goods manufacturer Gorenje plans to reduce its registered share capital by 506,221.83 euro ($575,453.1) to 101.4 million euro by withdrawing shares representing 0.4967% of its share capital, it said on Thursday.
The purpose of the cut is to increase the profitability of the company’s equity, Gorenje said in a filing to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
Upon the reduction of the share capital, the company’s share capital shall be distributed to 24,303,302 ordinary freely transferable non-par value GRVG shares, it added.
The general assembly of Gorenje will vote on the proposal on September 17.
