September 20 (SeeNews) - Slovenian white goods manufacturer Gorenje said on Thursday it has appointed a new chairman and deputy chairman of its supervisory board.
At its session held on September 19 and 20, the Gorenje supervisory board appointed Yeguo Tang as its chairman, while Shaoqian Jia was named deputy chairman, the company said in a filing to the Ljubljana Stock Exchange.
Supervisory board audit committee new chairman Yeguo Tang and two new members, Xin Liu and Yuling Gao, were also appointed at the meeting.
In the first half of 2018, China's Hisense Group announced its takeover bid and completed the acquisition of – combined with previously acquired shares – a total of 95.42% of the company Gorenje. Now it is set to squeeze out the minority shareholders.
