LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), October 19 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's general government deficit is forecast at 321 million euro ($379 million) in 2017, equivalent to 0.8% of the projected GDP, the national statistical office said on Thursday.
According to the second estimate, Slovenia's deficit was 754 million euro in 2016, or 1.9% of GDP, down from 1.1 billion euro in 2015, the statistical office said in a statement.
Government debt at the end of 2017 is forecast at 32.166 billion euro, or 75.2% of GDP, compared to an estimated debt of 31.730 billion euro, or 78.5% of GDP last year.
