September 27 (SeeNews) - Slovenian energy group GEN-I is considering the possibility of issuing additional 12-month commercial papers worth 20 million euro ($19.3 million), it said.
The commercial papers will be placed as part of a issue carried out in May, GEN-I said in a filing with the Ljubljana Stock Exchange on Monday.
GEN-I aims to increase its liquidity reserves through the issue, which will be carried out within the framework of the public offering procedure without the publication of a prospectus, it said.
The issue arranger will be local lender Nova Kreditna Banka Maribor (NKBM).
In May, GEN-I sold 12-month commercial notes worth a nominal 60 million euro. The company received binding offers from interested investors in a record-high amount of some 70 million euro, which led to the increase of the originally set borrowing amount of 50 million euro by 10 million euro.
The notes will be traded on the Ljubljana Stock Exchange and their annual interest rate was set at 1.3%.
