February 24 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's seasonally-adjusted economic sentiment index stayed flat on the month in February, the country's statistics office said on Monday.
The February index was seven percentage points higher compared to the same month of last year and six percentage points below the long-term average, the statistics office said in a statement.
The seasonally-adjusted value of the manufacturing sector confidence index was 3.0 percentage points higher than in January and eight percentage points up year-on-year. It was 3.0 percentage point above the long-term average.
The February seasonally-adjusted confidence indicator for the retail sector was eight percentage points lower month-on-month. It rose by 11 percentage points from a year earlier and was seven percentage points below than the long-term average.
The confidence indicator in the construction sector fell by one percentage point on the month and rose by 12 points year-on-year in February. It was the same as the long-term average.
The seasonally-adjusted confidence index in the services sector was 1.0 percentage points lower on the month in February. It rose by six percentage points on the year and was 18 points below the long-term average.
The consumer confidence indicator increased by 1.0 percentage point on the month in February. The indicator was 1.0 percentage point higher than a year ago and three percentage points above the last year’s average.
