LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), March 20 (SeeNews) – The number of building permits issued in Slovenia in February fell 39% month-on-month to 392, after rising 2% in January, the office of national statistics said on Wednesday.
A total of 164 permits were issued for residential projects in February, down 45% on the month, while 228 permits were issued for non-residential buildings, a drop of 34%, the statistical office said in a statement.
The total floor area of buildings for which permits were issued in February, was 112,481 sq m, down 25% in comparison with January.
The construction of 320 dwellings was planned, down 10%.
