LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), September 24 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's economic sentiment index fell by 1.2 percentage points (p.p.) month-on-month to 4.8 p.p. in September, after falling 0.8 p.p. in August, the country's statistical office said on Tuesday, citing final data.
On an annual comparison basis, the overall economic sentiment indicator was 3.4 p.p. lower in September, the statistical office said in a statement.
The confidence indicator in the services sector increased by 0.2 p.p. as compared to August. Compared to September last year, the indicator was 1.5 p.p. lower.
In September 2019, the manufacturing confidence indicator decreased by 0.4 p.p. compared to the previous month and by 1.3 p.p. over September 2018.
The retail trade confidence indicator decreased by 0.2 p.p. in September on a monthly comparison basis. Compared to September last year, it increased by 0.2 p.p.
The confidence indicator in construction remained stable on the monthly comparison basis, while it was 0.4 p.p. lower than in September last year.
