LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), June 21 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's economic sentiment index decreased by 2.3 percentage points month-on-month to 5.4 p.p. in June, after adding 1.0 p.p. in May, the country's statistical office said on Friday, citing seasonally adjusted data.
In June, the overall economic sentiment indicator was 8.0 p.p. lower on the year, the statistical office said in a statement.
The confidence indicator in the services sector was 0.2 p.p. higher relative to May. Compared to June last year, the indicator was 1.2 p.p. lower.
In June 2019, the manufacturing confidence indicator decreased by 2.5 p.p. compared to the previous month and decreased by 4.8 p.p. over June 2018.
The retail trade confidence indicator fell by 0.4 p.p. in June on a monthly comparison basis. Compared to June last year, it decreased by 0.2 p.p.
The confidence indicator in construction remained stable on the monthly change, while it was 0.6 p.p. lower than in June last year.
