March 28 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's economic sentiment index went down in March by 0.3 of a percentage point (pps) monthly, after declining 0.2 pp month-on-month in February, the country's statistical office said.
On an annual comparison basis, the overall economic sentiment indicator decreased by 2.7 pps in March, after declining by 7.7 pps in February, the statistical office said in a statement last week.
The monthly decrease was influenced by 0.5 pp lower confidence indicator in retail trade, and in manufacturing and construction, each lower by 0.2 pp. The change was positively influenced by indicators in services and among consumers, up 0.4 pp and 0.2 pp, respectively.
The annual decline was influenced by confidence indicators in manufacturing, down 3.7 pps, as well as in retail trade and construction, each down 0.6 pp. The change in value was positively influenced by confidence indicators in services, which went up 2.1 pps and among consumers, up 0.1 pp.
