September 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's economic sentiment index went up in September by 0.6 of a percentage point (pp) monthly, after rising at the same rate in August, the country's statistical office said.
On an annual comparison basis, the overall economic sentiment indicator decreased by 0.4 pp in September, after declining by 5.7 pps in August, the statistical office said in a statement on Friday.
Confidence indicators in services, up 0.3 pp, and in construction and among consumers, up 0.2 pp each, had a positive impact on a monthly level. The change was negatively influenced by the retail trade indicator, down 0.2 pp, while the indicator in manufacturing had no impact.
The annual decrease was influenced by the lower values in manufacturing, down 1.2 pps, in services, down 0.6 pp. Only the consumer confidence indicator had a positive impact, up 1.4 pps, while the retail trade and construction confidence indicators had no impact.
