February 22 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's economic sentiment index increased by 0.4 of a percentage point on the month in February, after rising by 1.5 percentage points in January, seasonally adjusted data from the country's statistical office showed on Wednesday.
On an annual comparison basis, the indicator was 7.0 percentage points higher in February, the data indicated. In February, the index was 12.9 percentage points above the long-term average.
The services confidence indicator remained unchanged at the level recorded in January 2017. Compared to February last year, the indicator increased by 6 percentage points and was 13 percentage points above the long-term average.
In February, the manufacturing confidence indicator was 2 percentage points higher than the January value. On the year, it increased by 6 percentage points and was 12 percentage points above the long-term average.
The retail trade confidence indicator was was 5 percentage points higher than in January. Compared to February last year,the index decreased by 5 percentage points and was 7 percentage points above the long-term average.
In February, the construction confidence indicator was 8 percentage points higher than in January. Compared to February 2016, it increased by 24 percentage points and was 26 percentage points above the long-term average.
