December 23 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's economic sentiment index increased by 0.5 of a percentage point month-on month in December, after rising by one percentage point in November, seasonally adjusted data from the country's statistical office showed on Friday.
On an annual basis, the indicator was 2.0 percentage points higher in December, the data indicated. It was 11.7 percentage points above the long-term average.
The services confidence indicator was 1 percentage point lower than in November 2016. Compared to December last year, the index increased by 2 percentage points and was 13 percentage points above the long-term average.
In December, the manufacturing confidence indicator remained unchanged from a month earlier. Compared to December last year, it increased by 1 percentage point and was 9 percentage points above the long-term average.
The confidence indicator for the retail sector was the same as a month earlier. It increased by 7 percentage points on the year and was 9 percentage points above the long-term average.
In December, the confidence indicator in construction was 3 percentage points higher than its November value. Compared to December last year, the index increased by 16 percentage points and was 20 percentage points above the long-term average.
