LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), December 21 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's economic sentiment index rose 1.0 percentage points (p.p.) month-on-month to 11.0 p.p. in December, after dropping 1.5 p.p. in November, the country's statistical office said on Friday, citing seasonally adjusted data.
In December, the overall economic sentiment indicator was 4.7 p.p. lower on the year, the statistical office said in a statement.
The confidence indicator in the services sector increased 1.1 p.p. relative to November. Compared to December last year, the indicator was 0.4 p.p. lower.
In December 2018, the manufacturing confidence indicator was 0.3 p.p. lower compared to the previous month and decreased by 2.7 p.p. over December 2017.
The retail trade confidence indicator was 0.1 p.p. higher in December on a monthly comparison basis. Compared to December last year, it decreased by 0.4 p.p.
The construction confidence indicator was 0.3 p.p. lower than in November 2018 and 0.2 p.p. lower than in December last year.
