April 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's seasonally-adjusted economic sentiment index rose by one percentage point on the month in April, the country's statistics office said on Friday.
The April index was nine percentage points higher compared to the same month of last year and two percentage points below the long-term average, the statistics office said in a statement.
The seasonally-adjusted value of the manufacturing sector confidence index was unchanged from March and 10 percentage points up year-on-year. It was 4.0 percentage point above the long-term average.
The April seasonally-adjusted confidence indicator for the retail sector was flat month-on-month. It rose by 8.0 percentage points from a year earlier and was six percentage points below than the long-term average.
The confidence indicator in the construction sector fell by seven percentage points on the month and rose by 10 points year-on-year in April. It was two percentage points higher than the long-term average.
The seasonally-adjusted confidence index in the services sector was 6.0 percentage points higher on the month in April. It soared by 14 percentage points on the year and was eight points below the long-term average.
The consumer confidence indicator decreased by 1.0 percentage point on the month in April. The indicator was 2.0 percentage point lower than a year ago and four percentage points above last year’s average.
