July 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's economic sentiment index decreased by 0.9 percentage points month-on-month in July, to 11.4, after increasing by 2.8 points in June, seasonally adjusted data from the country's statistical office showed on Tuesday.
On an annual comparison basis, the indicator was 6.1 percentage points higher in July, the data indicated. In July, the index was 13.8 p.p. above the long-term average.
In July, the services confidence indicator was 1 p.p. higher than in June. Compared to July last year, it increased by 3 p.p. and was 15 p.p. above the long-term average.
The manufacturing confidence indicator was 1 p.p. lower than last month. Compared to July last year, it increased by 4 p.p. and was 9 p.p. above the long-term average.
In July, the retail trade confidence indicator was 10 p.p. lower on the month. Compared to the same month last year it increased by 3 p.p. and was 12 p.p. above the long-term average.
The construction confidence indicator was 4 p.p. higher month-on-month in July. Compared to July 2016, it increased by 30 p.p. and was 37 p.p. above the long-term average.
