LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), October 25 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's economic sentiment index fell by 0.7 percentage points (pps) month-on-month to 4.0 pps in October, after falling by 1.2 pps in September, the country's statistical office said on Friday, citing final data.
On an annual comparison basis, the overall economic sentiment indicator was 7.5 pps lower in October, the statistical office said in a statement.
The confidence indicator in the services sector decreased by 0.1 pps as compared to September. Compared to October 2018, the indicator was 1.3 pps lower.
In October 2019, the manufacturing confidence indicator remained stable on the month and decreased by 4.3 pps compared to October 2018.
The retail trade confidence indicator remained stable both on monthly and annual comparison basis.
The confidence indicator in construction decreased by 0.2 pps as compared to September, and was 0.7 pps lower than in October last year.
