LJUBLJANA (Slovenia), July 25 (SeeNews) – Slovenia's economic sentiment index increased by 1.4 percentage points month-on-month to 6.9 p.p. in July, after dropping 5.4 p.p. in June, the country's statistical office said on Thursday, citing seasonally adjusted data.
On an annual basis, the overall economic sentiment indicator was 3.7 p.p. lower in July, the statistical office said in a statement.
The confidence indicator in the services sector remained unchanged as compared to June. Compared to July last year, the indicator was 0.7 p.p. lower.
In July 2019, the manufacturing confidence indicator increased by 1.4 p.p. compared to the previous month and decreased by 2.1 p.p. over July 2018.
The retail trade confidence indicator remained unchanged in July on a monthly comparison basis. Compared to July last year, it increased by 0.3 p.p.
The confidence indicator in construction remained stable on the monthly change, while it was 0.7 p.p. lower than in July last year.
