October 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's economic sentiment index increased by one percentage point month-on month in October, after dropping by half of a percentage point in September, seasonally adjusted data from the country's statistics office showed on Tuesday.
On an annual basis, the indicator was 1.4 percentage points higher in October, the data indicated. It was 10.2 percentage points above the long-term average.
The confidence index in the services sector in October was 3 percentage points higher than in September 2016. Compared to October 2015, it increased by 3 percentage points and was 13 percentage points above the long-term average.
The level of confidence in the manufacturing sector was was 3 percentage points higher on the month. Compared to October 2015, it remained unchanged and was 8 percentage points above the long-term average.
The confidence indicator for the retail sector was 19 percentage points lower than in September 2016. It decreased by 3 percentage points compared to October 2015 and was 1 percentage point above the long-term average.
The confidence indicator in construction was 1 percentage point lower than in September 2016. Compared to October 2015 it increased by 13 percentage points and was 16 percentage points above the long-term average.
