June 23 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's economic sentiment index increased by 2.8 percentage points month-on-month in June, to 12.3, after dropping by 2.1 points in May, seasonally adjusted data from the country's statistical office showed on Friday.
On an annual comparison basis, the indicator was 7.9 percentage points higher in June, the data indicated. In May, the index was 14.8 p.p. above the long-term average.
In June, the services confidence indicator was 1 p.p. lower than in May. Compared to June last year, it increased by 5 p.p. and was 14 p.p. above the long-term average.
The manufacturing confidence indicator increased 3 percentage points on the month in June. Compared to the same month last year, it increased by 4 p.p. and was 10 p.p. above the long-term average.
In June, the retail trade confidence indicator was 21 p.p. higher than in May. Compared to June 2016, it increased by 15 p.p. and was 22 p.p. above the long-term average.
The construction confidence indicator was 5 p.p. higher than in May. It increased by 27 p.p. on the year, and was 32 p.p. above the long-term average.
