May 25 (SeeNews) - Slovenia's economic sentiment index dropped by 2.5 percentage points on the month in May, seasonally adjusted statistics office data showed on Wednesday.
On an annual basis, the indicator was 1.7 percentage points lower, the data indicated. It was 6.6 percentage points above the long-term average.
The confidence index in the services sector in May was 5 percentage points lower on the month and 1 percentage point above the May 2015 level. The index was nine points above the long-term average.
The value of manufacturing confidence was 3 percentage points below the April result. It was one percentage point lower on the year and seven points above the long-term average.
The confidence indicator for the retail sector was 3 percentage points higher than a month earlier and decreased 6 points on the year. It was 2 points above the long-term average.
The confidence indicator in construction was one point lower on the month and two points lower on the year in May. It was two percentage points above the long-term average.
