January 21 (SeeNews) - Slovenia’s consumer confidence indicator remained unchanged in January, after increasing by 3 percentage points (pps) in the preceding month, the country's statistical office said.
In annual terms, consumer confidence was up by 5 pps in January, the statistical office said in a statement on Thursday.
Consumers' expectations about the country's economy and expectations for major purchases increased by 5 pps and 3 pps month-on-month, respectively. The consumer confidence indicator was offset by expectations about households' finances which declined by 4 pps and current households' finances which went down by 3 pps.
At the annual level, expectations about the country's economy went up by 14 pps, for major purchases by 9 pps and about current households’ finances by 4 pps, while expectations about the households' finances decreased by 7 pps.
