April 20 (SeeNews) - Slovenia’s consumer confidence indicator rose 4 percentage points on a monthly basis in April, after remaining unchanged in March, the country's statistics office said on Thursday.
All four component indicators - expectations about savings, unemployment, household finances and the country's economy - improved as compared to the previous month, by 5 p.p., 4 p.p., 3 p.p. and 2 p.p., respectively.
All other indicators also improved on a monthly basis, except expectations about major purchases, which decreased by 3 p.p.
The value of the consumer confidence indicator improved by 12 p.p. compared to April 2016, and was 9 p.p. above last year’s average. In March, it gained 11 p.p. on the year.
All four component indicators had a positive impact on the annual change of the confidence indicator. Expectations about unemployment improved by 18 p.p., about country’s economy by 14 p.p., about saving by 10 p.p. and about households’ finances by 6 p.p.
